Game Häus Cafe, the first board game cafe in Los Angeles, has closed its doors after Snakes & Lattes withdraws from acquisition deal.
Snakes & Lattes announced Gamehaus as its ninth location on April 21, but said in more recent releases that the deal was contingent on renewing the lease at the Gamehaus location in Glendale.
Snakes announced on June 2 that it had withdrawn from the lease negotiations and was pulling out of the deal.
“In the best interest of Snakes & Lattes, we have decided not to pursue this location any further. However we certainly have other more suitable location candidates to continue building up our high quality brand for a top tier game board cafe experience,” said Ben Castanie, Snakes & Lattes founder.
Gamehaus announced its closing the next day.
