Arcade1Up, best known for their at-home retro arcade games, will partner with The Op to bring their board games and puzzles to the Infinity Game Table, a hybrid tabletop gaming device.
It is unclear which games would be made available but the announcement said it would be the first time The Op’s ‘iconic’ games would be available in digital form.
The partnership will expand the number of games and activities available on the game system to 78.
“Working with The Op to reimagine some of their well-known titles for the digital platform, while expanding our library of games, is something we are very excited to take on,” said Davin Sufer, CTO of Arcade1Up.
Casey Sershon, Director of Product Development at the The Op said the partnership is the perfect combination of digital engagement while maintaining the in-person social aspect of board games.
The Infinity Game Table raised just over $1 million on Kickstarter in December 2020.
The games are expected to be available later this year.
